Thank you for using X Slider! This extremely basic horizontal slider helps you quickly deploy a gallery of mixed photographs and written content. It works with all major web browsers. Images can be of different sizes and shapes. Each item can also have a link applied; which can point to another website, a resource or an external website.

Click the blue '+' button above to add each item to the slider. An item can comprise of a dragged-and-dropped image, a warehoused (linked) image or a blank item that can contain text or other compatible stacks. The order of items can be changed. When an item is selected in edit mode, different settings are displayed, depending on what item type is used. For example, the blank item type includes options to apply a background color and change font sizing on different screen widths.

If you select the main X Slider stack in Stacks edit mode, you can access a couple of settings to alter the height of your slider, on different screen widths.

Some web browsers hide scroll bars, so people might not realise they can swipe horizontally to view more content. A simple workaround solution is to display a short instruction below the slider like 'Scroll right to view more'.
